My FarmVille Strategy, how I did it and how you can get your own FarmVille Strategy going.
Advancing in the famous FarmVille on Facebook game is called “Leveling up” by folks who have been playing awhile. My biggest FarmVille Strategy was to focus on “Leveling Up”. Each of us who have been playing for awhile remember what it was like to have just six plots of plowed land. I invited everyone I knew on Facebook to be my neighbor, not everyone accepted, but I got plenty of FarmVille friends and neighbors.
Once I started, the chase was on. I sent out as many gifts as I could in a days time and I focused on growing the available land that I could plant crops on. I would spend down to just a few coins and expand my farm each chance I could.
It did not take long to catch-up to family and friends who have been playing for awhile, learning small tricks along the way. I also bought a
FarmVille guide book online. This gave me a bit of a boost.
Once I had made a good showing in leveling up, I started working on ribbons and crop mastery, because the game is not just about gaining new levels of play, it is also about how well you play while leveling up. To earn ribbons, I needed to help out my neighboring farms, helping chase pests away and fertilizing their crops. I received the “Good Samaritan” ribbon, and leveled up again, passing folks I just helped, sounds odd, but it is a bit funny to me. You can also get a “Local Celebrity” ribbon. These two ribbons should be key to your FarmVille Strategy.
Mastering crops along with collecting ribbons seems to go hand-in-hand. The rewards and cost of crops takes a bit of thinking, or help. I got a list of the top ten crops by email from a FarmVille Strategy and Fan site. I tried to plant and harvest the best crops that will bring the biggest return of FarmVille Coins. I did this and my coin bank just kept growing until I had so many coins, I did not think I could spend them all; but as I think about it, I am sure I could if I wanted to. My first goal was to get 500 thousand coins. It did not take very long, but it was not quick ether.
My focus was on planting and harvesting, and the coins just came.
I am able to compare my status with other players and get an idea of how to improve. I still help others and send gifts as much as I can, and if you do this you will start collecting gifts as well. I accepted every gift. Gifts that are two weeks old will expire so I accept gifts every few days. I sold most of my gifts early on, because I wanted to grow my plowed land and I needed the coins. Later on, I kept some of the gifts just for fun and would replace them with other gifts every week or so when I got tired of looking at them.
My FarmVille Strategy works. Feel free to use it.
See you on the farm!
